Scientific Advisory Board Donald Tashkin, M.D. (Chair) - Dr. Tashkin is a Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division of the University of California at Los Angeles’ School of Medicine. He is also Co-Director of the Lung Health Study, funded by the National Institute of Health. His particular focus is the issue of compliance regarding prescribed inhaled medication for respiratory disease. Kenneth R. Chapman, M.D. - Dr. Chapman is the Director of the Asthma Centre of the Toronto Hospital and he is President of the Canadian Network for Asthma Care. Dr. Chapman is an internationally respected lecturer in the field of asthma and airway diseases. He has presented to medical audiences widely in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Henry Milgrom, M.D. - Dr. Milgrom is the Director of the Ambulatory Pediatric Allergy Program and a staff physician at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center. In addition he is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at he University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Milgrom is an advisory editor of the "International Archives of Allergy and Immunology" and a reviewer for the "American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine." Cynthia S. Rand, Ph.D. - Dr. Rand is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University’s Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, department of Psychology. Dr. Rand is accomplished in the interdisciplinary field of behavioral science as related to patient/physician interaction, and most recently has focused on compliance in respiratory disease. Sheldon L. Spector, M.D. - Dr. Spector is presently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles. He is a Director of the Allergy Research Foundation Inc., in Los Angeles. Dr. Spector is the immediate past president o the Los Angeles Society of Allergy and Immunology. He is also Chairman of the interest section on Asthma, Rhinitis and Related Diseases for the Academy of Allergy and Immunology.
